Help with computing issues is available to HSIT constituents in three levels: local, centralized, and hospital. Local assistanceEach HSIT school has its own IT support staff which offer assistance on a variety of localized support issues. In general you should contact these organizations/individuals if you are having problems with school supported resources (servers, Email clients, new computer installation, school specific software, etc). If you are not sure where to go for help, this is a good first stop. School contacts last updated 6/30/2009
Centralized assistanceUB offers a variety of resources and assistance which support centrally
provided services.
Hospital AssistanceThis option is available to HSIT constituents located within affiliated teaching hospitals. In general assistance with UB specific hardware/software/services should be directed to one of the above two support options. Questions with respect to hospital supported software, obtaining network connections, or problems with network connectivity should be directed to the appropriate hospital support staff. See the child link in upper left margin of this page for contact information. |
